Times
When
we’re simply too busy at the moment to comfortably take on new clients
with
tight deadlines, you’ll see a clear posting of “Current Volume
Temporarily at
Capacity” on our Contact
page. (Sometimes it’s
there for several consecutive weeks.) We hope this doesn’t necessarily discourage you from submitting
your
documents to us, merely lets you know that we’re busy and a “rush”
turnaround
for a new client is temporarily unlikely. We post this indication so
that, if
you are not already a client of ours but time is of the essence, you
will be
appropriately informed. Should you decide to submit your documents
anyway
(and we certainly hope you do), we’ll get to them as soon as possible —
which
will probably be quite soon. We always encourage you — after being properly
advised of this — to send us your work anyway.
That
said, deadlines are important; we’ve lived by them for years. In the
absence of
a deadline agreed upon with a client, we impose an arbitrary one upon
ourselves. We shoot for a

find that some other editing services who do make such promises also
renege on
them in their fine print. It won’t help you to pay more for a It

won’t benefit you to have your document returned promptly if it suffers
from a
rushed job. Quality of the finished product is the main thing. That’s
why you
bring your documents to us, because we know it’s far more important that your project is done right than
that
you get it right away. We find that very few of our customers are working under such strict deadlines (and, for those business clients who are, we accommodate). Most, however, value quality over instant gratification and care much more about accuracy than next-day delivery. |
